After Maddie and Tucker's Birthday party Maddie gave all of hers and Tucker's birthday balloons to Mawmaw Connie. It was really dark outside, I have no idea how the picture of the balloons actually going up in the air turned out so good. We also took video of this and you cannot tell where Maddie is at on the video because it was so dark outside. When she let those go, all of us were just standing around and realized that Maddie was no where to be found. We looked around the back of the house and Maddie had gone back inside and got her Hannah Montana mylar balloon and had gone outside and was saying "here Mawmaw Connie, you can play with my Hannah Tanna balloon too" and let that balloon go also. What made this so sweet was that she had no idea that we were listening to her. She was talking to her Mawmaw Connie like she was right there in front of her.

Maddie had a Hannah Montana Birthday Party while were on vacation in North Carolina. Maddie got tons of stuff. Shen we got home we had her and Tucker a Mickey Mouse party for the family here in TN.

Fishing with Daddy

After we got home from the fishing show, we went down to the dock in Greenlee Campground right next to our house and Maddie and Brent went fishing for Blue Gill. Maddie was more interested in the worms, which she called snakes, untill she caught a fish.
After we got tired of fishing we went to the snack shack at Greenlee Campground and had hamburgers hot dogs and ice cream. Needless to say we had a fun filled day this past saturday with Daddy.

FLW Tour Kids Fun Fest, Downtown Knoxville

This weekend was the FLW fishing Tournament on Fort Loudon and Tellico lake. As most of you know, that is a dream of Brent's. Brent loves to fish, and has passed that to Maddie. We took her to the Kids Fun Fest that was at the Convention Center, so she could see all of the fish and things. She loved it. Maddie got to go fishing in the trout pond and actually caught one. Since she caught a trout, she got a big sticker that says. "I caught a trout", she was THRILLED!!!


I could not get the picture snapped in time, but this is her actually catching the trout.

She did not know what to think of the M & Ms. She stood just long enough to have her picture made and then she was out of there.

Playing Downtown at Fort Kid

Daddy had the weekend off, so we went to the fishing show and to Fort Kid in downtown knoxville. Maddie had a blast. It was nice family time for all of us.

This was a georgous rainbow at the house last week after an afternoon thunderstorm.

Tucke was pooped.

A day at the pool

Maddie at the pool. She loves the water, but she refuses to go past the ladder. She will not get her head wet. We really have to work on that.
